What are the opening hours of the recycling park?

Visits to The recycling park can only be booked in advance. The Hiriya Recycling Park and the Center for Environmental Education can be reached by phone: 03-7396633, Sundays till Thursdays from 8:00 till 15:00, Or by mail: visit@hiriya.co.il

Where can I buy tickets?

What should I bring to a visit in the Hiriya Recycling Park?

We strongly recommend that you bring your own drinking bottle. Bottles can be filled from coolers in the Center for Environmental Education. Bottled water is not available at the Hiriya Recycling Park.

For what age is the tour suitable?

The Hiriya Recycling Park tours are suitable for the whole family and all ages, the tours can be tailored to the age of the group.

Is it possible to purchase food and drinks?

"Hiriya Cafe" A socio-environmental cafe at the Center for Environmental Education offers light and kosher refreshments.

Is there a parking lot on site?

Of course! The car park is located after the exit from Highway 4 (after the guard position) on the right.

How to get to Hiriya?

Arrival is by private transport only, unfortunately there is no public transportation to Hiriya.

Arrival from the north on Highway 4 Geha

Pass the Mesubim interchange on the bridge, Immediately after keep to the right lane. After about 1 km, turn right into the entrance to the Hiriya Recycling Park. Parking the car immediately after the guard position, on the right.

Arrival from the south on Highway 4 Geha

Get off the highway at the Or Yehuda interchange and stay on the left lane. At the traffic light turn left towards Lod Road (Route 461). At the next traffic light (about fifty meters away) turn left again towards South Geha Road (Highway 4). keep to the right lane. After about 1 km, turn right into the entrance to the Hiriya Recycling Park. Parking the car immediately after the guard position, on the right.

Arrival from Ayalon Highway

Travel on Ayalon lanes until Kibbutz Galuyot exit. At Kibbutz Galuyot, turn towards Lod Road (Road 461). Drive straight for about 4 km to the Mesubim junction. At the Mesubim junction turn right towards Gaha South (Route 4). keep to the right lane. After about 1 km, turn right into the entrance to the Hiriya Recycling Park. Parking the car immediately after the guard position, on the right.

Is it allowed to bring dogs to the Hiriya Recycling Center?

It is advisable not to come with dogs. If you must bring your dog, only with a leash and a muzzle.

Is the Recycling Park accessible for the disabled and people who have difficulty walking?

There are designated parking for vehicles of people with a handicap. There is an accessible path from the car park to the Environmental Education Center and the Environmental Education Center has an elevator. For any further questions visit@hiriya.co.il
