Discover the Dan Region Association of Towns for Sanitation and Waste Disposal
The Dan Region Association of towns operates Hiriya Recycling Park — Israel’s leading center for sustainable waste management, recycling, and environmental innovation.
Founded in 1966 by six municipalities — Tel Aviv-Yafo, Ramat Gan, Bat Yam, Bnei Brak, Holon, and Givatayim — the Association has been providing advanced, efficient, and eco-friendly waste solutions to its member cities and to over 25 additional municipalities across the greater Dan Region.
As waste volumes have grown and global environmental awareness has deepened, the Association continues to develop and implement cutting-edge waste treatment technologies.
At Hiriya Recycling Park, these innovations are continuously evolving — turning waste challenges into sustainable opportunities.
Sustainability is at the heart of the Association’s mission and daily work.
Under its leadership, the Dan Region Association and Hiriya Recycling Park stand at the forefront of Israel’s environmental progress, driving real change in waste reduction, recycling, and resource recovery — for a cleaner environment and a better quality of life across the Tel Aviv metropolitan area and Israel as a whole.
