The Hiriya Recycling Park symbolizes Israel’s great environmental revolution. The Recycling Park was set up by the Dan Region Association of Towns for Sanitation and Waste Management as a part of a complex, integrated change intended to accomplish a substantial improvement in the quality of life, public health, and state of the environment. This is how the Hiriya Mountain of waste transformed into a recycling park applying advanced waste management and reduction solutions.
The Association works out of environmental responsibility in an effort to secure a cleaner future for us all. To do so, we are committed to fixing past damage and to taking responsibility for our environment and our society.
The Hiriya Recycling Park is a life’s work. It is living testimony to how prevailing attitudes can be channeled toward a better, sustainable society. We are proud to be at the forefront of Israel’s environmental revolution.
