How Do You Rehabilitate a Mountain?
You treat the mountain slopes – stabilize the slopes using construction waste that has undergone a recycling process in the Hiriya recycling centers. You pump the biogas that exists inside the mountain. You handle the leachate using moats dug around the mountain. The leachate flows to the "green basins" system. You drain the surface runoff from the mountain by placing clean dirt and digging pools to regulate the flow of the water. The sorting of the drainage helps to stabilize the mountain and the site, and reduces the penetration of the surface runoff into the body of the waste by combining natural and synthetic materials to block it. |
